I swore I would never own any FWD, but two years ago I bought my learning or project 855. It is certainly a Volvo and a fun one. It also has the usual problems you hear about but you can solve them. The engine was designed by Porsche and is sweet but requires certain maintenance which you need to perform such as timing belts.

I am now keeping up 3 FWD and 2 RWD's in our family group. Have fun with your decision.
