I have a '98 S70, and wanted a scan tool(my first OBD-II vehicle), and looked at a bunch, mostly a lot of made in China junk, but surprise, surprise, at my local NAPA I found the KAL Equip Global OBD II code scanner, easy to use, updateable, and seems to have no problems reading Volvo codes...I think I paid around $200, but so far worth every penny..it won't reset the SI indicator light however..I just deal with the stupid message until the light goes out
