Hi Hugh,

Tidewater T5's instructions say it best.

Trust us, you'll swear that you are breaking off every retainer. But, you aren't.

I've removed the cover at least 3 times (installing the handsfree phone set, auto-dim mirror, trimming off excess material per TSB) and haven't broken anything.

Appreciate the robustness of this part since most other plastics in this car are as fragile as spun sugar.
