Tidewater T5 and Bryan,

Thank you both. Both of you hit right on the head regarding my visceral fear that I'll snap or break a $75 plus Volvo interior trim piece. You have given me the courage and confidence to try to fix this problem on my own.

I'm tired of paying for replacing this sun visor for problem that should be so easy to fix.

I'll let you know how it works out.
