Idle Air Control 850

When you cleaned the IAC did you verify that the valve portion was moving freely? If it was that badly fouled, it usually takes a bit of wrist action to get it moving freely again. And considering the crud in the IAC, your throttle body probably looks about the same, and that would also contribute to a rough idle.

As for the brakes, are you sure you got all of the hose connections back in place and tight? On mine, the vacuum line to the brakes was also very hard: had to replace it back to the junction under the battery.
