I talked to them this past Saturday, they agreed to install OEM glass, (for which I will pay - the glass) and they would do the install and replace the upper trim piece at no cost. Also requested they find out their cost for OEM glass and allow me to pay the reduced cost.
Called yesterday to confirm. Nothing had been ordered. They now claim that they will not replace the upper trim pieces for free but want to charge me $540 for the installation of the replacement glass & trim.
(It should have been a signal to me when they keep asking me for my phone number every time I call them.)

An expensive lesson learned. Going to a local business is not always the best!

I talked to service manager at the shop I use for more difficult work, and he suggested someone that they use with excellent results. I was quoted $270 with PBG glass, which I believe should be ok.

So my suggestion is to ask first what type of glass they intend to use on your vehicle and ask for references also.

Never thought replacing a windshield would be this much of a headache.
