leaking fuel profusely 850

i know it has been a few weeks, but unfortunately i still have, more or less, the same problem. after our last "conversation" i inspected the fuel rail and the area around the fuel injectors. it was clear that the fuel was stream out around a few of the injectors. since it has been so cold outside, i decided to stimulate the economy and take it to my mechanic for resolution. my mechanic felt that i needed to replace the fuel injector seals. it took a while to get all of the different seals, but he put all of them on, but it is still leaking, but around a different injector. it seems to me that this is still clearly a seal issue, but my mechanic now wants to replace at least some of my fuel injectors. i tried to discuss this issue with him, reasoning that if the seal is working properly, then it doesn't matter about the injector itself--there should not be a leak. unfortunately for me, he was not able to convince me that replacing fuel injectors is going to fix a leak.
can anyone please offer some advice? is it possible that the seals just are not aligned properly and that my mechanic is not familiar with the process? or is there something else that can cause fuel to pour out from around the base of the fuel injector?
