Oil film yes. A litre of oil every 600-1000km and oil dripping out the bottom intercooler drain is not normal. Since BS event no more oil dripping. Hence their kind words solved the problem. We'll call it faith healing.

If in doubt about my car call Volvo Car Australia and ask why they cancelled my extended warranty and gave me the money back. They admitted this car is not worth covering any longer due to claim history (previous owner/s included).

As for previous msgs in string, I apologise for using slang and am very wary that English is not uniform worldwide. A fact of life since I often have to think about some terminology used on this brickboard.

I think we should end the string there given there is so much BS floating around. I'm sorry that you were offended by me telling someone else my experiences with the Volvo turbocharger. Keep in mind that is what this forum is for.
