If turbo seals are common in your area, maybe the heat then is a factor? I'm in the northern midwest US where our summers are short and it rarely goes over 100F degrees. I honestly don't know if turbos in the southern US states fail more often, but I suppose it's possible? Could be a thread in itself maybe?
