Power Steering Pump 850 1997

for sure no question.

Are you using ATF DEX-III in your PS?

If so, go get a liter of whatever cheap stuff and replace the fluid in the reservoir, then replace again every couple of days until the whole liter is used up. This stuff is just to go in and hopefully suspend anything bad in the fluid so you can suck it up. This fluid is cheap and it wouldn't hurt to do more than 1 liter.

Then go get some really good fluid, like Mobil 1 fully synthetic or AMSOIL or something like that and replace again. You want that good synthetic fluid in there last.

This is a cheap thing to try and you can't hurt anything as long as you always ensure there is enough fluid in the system when it's running.

Worth a shot. Hope it solves it for you.
