Alternator? 850 1994

I tried #35 yesterday, the lights stayed on.

I'll try the other suggestions. Someone on MVS suggested it was the diode in the back of the alternator.

I unplugged the red/white wire and was left with only a couple of the dash lights (CEL, ABS, SRS, OIL)

Plugging it back in gives me everything again.

Does this suggest that something has failed inside the alternator?
