I will work on getting the PCV/vacuum lines replaced. Is there any sort of comprehensive lists of what to purchase when redoing the vacuum lines? I haven't been able to find one yet. It's the N/A 5 cyl so should be a little less complicated, at least.
I wasn't aware timing was controlled by vacuum pressure. I will have to check that out. I replaced the plugs a couple thousand miles ago and the old ones were really wet! I'm not sure when the rotor/cap was replaced. I will have to look through his service history.
