To me, the biggest problem in this ever-lasting discussion is the fact that nobody on the board, including Volvo professionals, actually revealed WHAT and WHY is failing in the transmission. Based on this knowledge I'd understand for myself if the flush is needed. I did mine at 65K only because of the hype surrounding this issue. Other that that I tend to agree with Dave and Volvo recommendations
