Re: ATF Drain or flush 850 1997

As you indicated, it's your money and your POM; if buying duplicate

insurance makes you feel better, go for it. It doesn't matter whether or

not I find it excessive and redundant. Are two talismans better than 1?

I'm sorry, 3 talismans:

1. You've already paid in advance for the failure whether or not it occurs

2. You're going to change the fluid much more often than necessary

3. You're going to repeatedly change a fluid that costs more than necessary

I guess the Volvo VIP actuaries will thank you, but the elephants will not.

Is it true that if you change your synthetic ATF every day, your AT will

last forever? No, wait, that's backwards: Is it true that if you never

change your plain old regular ATF, your transmission will fail every day?
