coolant leak 850 1997

My 850 is a turbo, so there is an additional line to supply coolant. Looking from the front of the car:

Just behind the timing belt cover is a coolant line. It has a connection to a hard line which then goes underneath the heat shield. The hard line goes the length of the engine and then a soft line comes up to the coupling on the firewall.

My connection from the soft line to the hard line has a lot of mineral deposit on it. Looks like crusty salt.

Measuring the drop on the ground from the front bumper is not very scientific, but it will put it in the ball park. Any air movement will cause a droplet to move farther back, hit something else and drip from there. If your car still has an air guide under the engine, all bets are off.
