t5 turbo lag and torque steer....

I can't keep my mouth shut as a "...little woman." I LOVE my T5. I have driven a GLT and I understand what everyone is saying about the lag etc..., but I wouldn't trade the T5 for the world. I can take anybody on (and often do) at freeway entrances etc... It's an automatic trans. and, yes, there is a lag, but overall I think it's much more powerful/desireable, then the GLT.
