when i get this problem on any car especially after you tried jumping the battrery, i assume one of two things: either it's fuel related or electrical related. You can check off electrical by checking to see if "juice" is getting through to the spark plugs. There's a neat little gadget that auto stores have to do this. If you get electricity, then it's probably fuel. I'd take off the fuel hose near the injectors to see if it squirts. Look out for messy fuel! The fuel pump relay might not be working. The fuel pump itself might be faulty. Sometimes the pressure regulator is not giving enough fuel. good luck
