My 96 850 did the same thing this morning. I was told by my extremely reliable mechanic that it floods when you run the engine a very short amount of time, especially in cold weather (16 degrees in Boise this morning), and then it will not start until you put your foot to the floor and get it started. He said it will start, but you need to keep it running several minutes for the ECU to clear itself up. Next time, let it run 30 to 60 seconds before you stop the engine, and you will not have the problem. I ran mine about 15 seconds to pull it into the garage from outside where it was pretty cold.
Thanks...
