If you just had it at the dealer and they found obviously nothing wrong and you aren't presently having any problems, there's nothing more that you can do.
Dealer techs can't start replacing parts in advance of "possible future failure" or because you'ld like them to replace a few parts. Volvo has rules on things like that and they will deny any warranty claim on parts that aren't yet bad and yes, they do check all old parts as the dealers must ship them in.
Your same car in Europe only has a 1 year warranty and many years ago, all cars in the US only had a 1 yr/12K mile warranty so warranty coverage has improved alot over the years.
