S80 recommendations - pros/cons S80

I have 290K on my B230FT and it's using about 1qt/1500mi. It's not smoking, except on startup, and the turbo inlet hose is turning to mush. I just replaced it with a used one. I'm sure I need an overhaul, but it's really running fine. BTW, it's still got the original turbo. I just checked it today when replacing the inlet hose. It spins freely and has no play. I can't figure it out.
