S80 recommendations - pros/cons S80

Hmmmnnn - thought i posted this yesterday. Most have gotten lost somewhere.

I have a 90 740 Turbo AND a 01 S80. I like both for different reasons.
The 740T with IPD suspension mods is more masculine, more of a performance car - a real sleeper. The S80 has great performance if you push it, the engine in particular loves to be pushed. BUT, it really shines as a luxo-cruiser. I had a lot a electical weirdness in the first 90 days of ownership, but it seems to have settled down and is very reliable now.

I don't understand the T6. The chassis can barely keep up with the 2.9, I haven't found an occasion where I needed more engine. The $15K - $20K premium for the T6 seems out of line to me, but if you've got the cash, go for it.

Thats my 2 cents - hope it helps in your decision process.
