850 vs 240 850

I had an 87 240DL that I really liked, it would cruise at 80 all day long, it was a good car though I did put some money into it to keep it in top shape. I sold it 2 years ago and bought a 1993 854GLT non-turbo a few weeks ago. I think the 850 is a world of difference in the fit, feel, handling, it is faster than the 240 and is solid, the interior is beautiful in comparison. I bought it with 186,000 miles on it and know I will have to put some dollars into it to keep it up but I don't expect it will be much more than my old 240. I think the money i out into the car is worth it know I won't be caught on the side of the road (did I jinx myself?) I would go for the 850 hands down.
