A lot of the response to your initial question is how will the vehicle be used and what is important to you. Some folks want the exclusivity and top end power of the R and will wait for a good one to come along. There is a group of R devotees on the swedespeed site which is another good one. Others may just want a basic wagon with a stick. The Rs are very nice cars but they have the viscous coupling AWD system which requires that all tires be roughly the same diameter. For example, if you have 20,000 mi on a set of tires and you have to replace one due to a blowout, it is advisable to replace all four- a pretty expensive proposition. I have a T5 that I like very much. It is an off lease car that came from Canada. Has all the toys and the leather/artificial suede interior.
