I'm using a Westco in one of my motorcycles and it's great! Regarding CCA, AH rating etc, lately I'm of the opinion that you shouldn't install something rated higher than the original. Someone who knows better please set me straight if I'm blowing smoke. I'm thinking that the alternator is only capable of a specific output current and will forever be trying to charge a "bigger" battery and that it's possible the battery would never be charged to it's rated capacity. Therefore be permantly undercharged. Might still provide 12-13 volts but it's current reserve would be diminished.
I've mentioned this a few times and no one's mentioned otherwise. I'd like to hear if I'm more right than wrong or vice versa.
Granted I don't deal with lead acid batteries in my work but in charging nicads and lith/ion batteries I've found it is possible to shorten their life using a charging source not capable of the batteries capacity.
I'd have no problem with a Westco in my Volvo but I'd buy the same capacity.
