We have a bunch of older Volvos, and I am certainly willing to keep up the maintenance on another one. I'm most familiar with push-rod engine old timers ('64, '67 122; '71 242, '71 164) and have messed around some in the last couple of years with a '79 244. I love Volvos, but don't know much about newer ones. One of the posts indicates some trials with the A/C, and I seem to remember something about problems with it. Incidentally, Consumer Report suggests that s60, s70 Volvos require a bit more attention than most other cars. She's looking at an Infiniti as well.
