850 alternatives... 850

If your looking for a used wagon and you don't want an 850, that pretty much narrows the field. Wagons have only become popular again in the last few year, with a few european competitors bringing their wagon models back. BMW makes a five series wagon, but they are rare to find; Mercedes makes a wagon out of the E-class, but like anything european you'll pay top dollar for parts. Audi makes an A6 Wagon, but the used ones built in the late '90s are plagued with electrical problems. Domestically, your only option is the Taurus, theres nothing really wrong with the Taurus, they're relatively safe and parts are cheap, but lets just say they are nothing like a Volvo. One more option I can think of.....is the Subaru Legacy wagon, they have Japanese reliability, safety, and all-wheel drive. If I were to drive a Japnese car it would be a Subaru. Good Luck.
