If you are looking for a wagon, check BMW 5-series (89-95, some newer 528I wagons might be a little more expensive), Honda Accord (I don't think the models after 1998 came in a wagon), VW Passat. The early to late '90s models should fit in your price range and have well under 100K miles. Other marks make decent vans such as Nissan, Toyota, Honda, Dodge. It just depends on what you're looking for...

Just make sure to check for maintenance records and get the car checked out no matter what you buy.
