Respect your techs and they will respect your cars and you

It's too bad that VCNA doesn't have their own version of a "tech only" BB so that techs could discuss "the whole Volvo experience" with other techs short of those few times when they're at school (rare now if you've already been to every class offered). I've suggested it to many but they don't like the idea. It'd also save ALOT of calls to the tech hot line (with 20-40 minute wait times) which aren't always usefull IMO either.
Many times, just "fixing the car" is the least of my worries compared to the BS involved in the business. If all I had to do was just fix a car, the job would be "cake".
Anyway, I sometimes learn some usefull stuff right here, at least as far as getting to know what customers DON'T want to see happen at their dealership and I pass it along where I work too if I ever see that happen there.

Just another word, there are some here who simply hate all dealerships due to previous bad experiences and no matter what, no one will ever convince them to ever try going to one again. It's like getting a bad meal or bad service at a restaurant, you won't ever go back unless it's the only game in town and you're desperate (usually the case with a newer car under warranty).
