Timing Belt Replacement 850 1995

I would say no. I just did the belt on mine and it is pretty easy
to inspect the pump since the timing belt cover comes off with one
12 mm bolt. So, have a look at it and see if it is dripping. If
not, leave it since the volvo water pump is not a trouble spot.

This site has the replacement steps and the first one will show
you how to get the cover off:

http://www.volvospeed.com/Repair/timingbelt.htm

read it over to give yourself some knowledge when dealing with
your shop.
