The OEM sound system in your Volvo is made by Alpine and IMHO sounds very good,(I'm a sound engineer working in the broadcast industry). Do yourself a favour and purchase the Alpine SC620 disk changer and necessary cable adapter and start enjoying CDs using the CD interface that is already implemented.
