Audio suggestions 850 1996

I used to have the Alpine unit before I bought the SC-816. I just switch CD's often so didn't like to go in the trunk or glove box to reload magazines. The Volvo factory CD players are iffy with CD-R's (they'll often skip or pop on a perfectly good CD-R), but the Alpine unit was wonderful. I had a S620 model as well. Adapter is a piece of cake, you just have to tap a live 12 Volt wire to power the CD changer (only needed to remove magazines when car is off). The choice is up to you. I live in SoCal and got the whole setup at Stereo1 Wherehouse for $240 (City of Industry, CA) but would not recommend you get yours there. The installers were rough on my car and scratched up the wood trim when taking out the factory stereo.
