Just another viewpoint versus Alpine unit. Since Alpine apparently makes both the Alpine and the Volvo factory changers, the factory changer has the plus of not needing an adaptor, and using the DIN control cable that is usually pre-wired in car. There are examples of each on eBay right now, FYI.
