What Grade of Oil to use? 850 1996

I thought it isn't recommended to mix oil grade viscosity. If you have 5W-30 in your engine right now then top up only with 5W-30. Otherwise, drain it and put in the oil weight that you want. I found the website from Mobil 1 a while back and its got some interesting answers to FAQ's about motor oil.
