What Grade of Oil to use? 850 1996

NH in the fall is beautiful I definitely agree. But winter has been really awful this year. In January, I remember the temp went down to -40 degrees F one night. It was so cold that the old coolant in my 1989 BMW 325iX actually froze. I have never, ever seen that happen before. I had to flush and replace the coolant and install a new thermostat. Not fun to do in sub-zero temps. I think I'll have to do the same to my 1996 850R pretty soon.
