8 Ohm speakers 850

I thought the stock speakers are 4 ohms like other cars ?? usually 8 ohms are for home use and 4 ohms are for cars, or is it the other way around?
The head unit is Volvo standard, and so everything else.
Total speakers in my car are 8, but I'm replacing only 2 on the dashboard.
