You and I both grew up in a time when possession of an automatic weapon was against the law. I have a distain for semi-automatics which include pistols. Unless your home is being invaded by a mob of bad guys trying to steal your hoard of toilette paper and all of them are brandishing AR15's, there is no need to rush to the gun safe and pull out a machine gun. You might be better off with a dozen hand grenades!

I have seen a semi-automatic grenade launcher, with 10 round capability. Imagine what that could do to your home invaders!

I am in favor of back ground checks, red flag laws, and even annual firearm proficiency testing.
