I'll second Mike T's response. I puzzled for quite a while on how/where to fit that clamp, and spent a bit of change at the auto parts store on various generic muffler hangers, u-bolts and things to try and cobble together something. I never could get something that would do the job, and it's been one of those things on my "take another stab at when I get a chance" list. I've got something around 15-20k since putting the system on, and no problems. I do worry that without the clamp there might be some undue stress on the cast manifold, and it would be a PITA if that cracked.
