3 fuses a year is more than it should but if it runs for 4 months between fuses keep plenty of spares in the glove compartment. Try cleaning the connection at the fuse holder and squeeze it closed slightly to insure good contact.

Replace the fuel filter if it is old and if it continues to blow fuses replace the pump (Bosch only). Skip the expensive diagnosis. Dan
