Inspect the oil pressure switch wiring harness on the engine. The OPS is mounted next to the oil filter on the passenger side of the engine. If the insulation of that wire is trashed due to the typical oil soak, it could be shorting to the block causing the light to come on. Note that this wire runs under the crank pulley at the front of the engine in the harness. It is rare that a 93 has wiring rot, but I have seen it on a 92.
Finally, if the harness is perfect, remove the oil pressure switch and connect a oil pressure gauge to the block. If it reads good, then the problem is definitely an electrical issue.
