Update 200 1986

Hi,

I just wanted to give people who want to know more, more information about the car.

I decided that it would be a wonderful idea to ‘‘work it over’’. I felt that since it only had 160,000 on the odometer, that the bottom end was likely O.K. I was worried about the head gasket though, because the radiator had been replaced, and there was a dingy marked ‘‘Taiwan‘‘ in the space for the electric fan switch. This is and was deeply disturbing.

Yesterday I put in new valve springs. I’m glad I didn’t order new valves, because these ones fit nicely in the guides, plus these look great. The machine work was done for $40. The head was decked .006’’ Pretty straight.
