Bleeding 93 240 brakes w/ABS and new master cylinder 200 1993

What is the proper procedure for bleeding the brake system when a new master cylinder is installed? I think it's different than when you're just flushing a system that already has fluid.

This is for my new 93 240 wagon with ABS. I installed new Volvo OE pads, disks and master cylinder, along with new front calipers and IPD SS lines. The system was completely drained and I bled it as I normally would. But the pedal is still a bit spongy and not firm at the bottom of travel. I suspect there is an alternate bleeding sequence for 'fresh' systems that are dry.

I looked at the brake manual on http://www.volvotips.com/index.php/240-260/volvo-240-260-service-manual, but I'm not sure it's for an ABS system

Any experts that have tackled it before?

Thanks.
