The way I make this test is foolproof. If you have battery voltage at the AMM's orange wire with the key on, you know the 25A fuse circuit is providing a good connection. Just roll back the boot on the AMM connector and touch your multimeter probe or test light to the terminal where the orange wire goes in. Turn the key on. Juice? OK.
A look at the wiring diagram shows this AMM power must flow through the system relay which, along with the fuel pump, is the main load being switched by the injection relay pair from the 25A fuse.
