It’s not the 25 AMP fuse, it’s the socket! 200 1990

Been a while since I've been able to work on my 240....
And my wife's 1998 Windstar just threw a rod. [ugh]

I pulled the 25A fuse and the connector looks like a brand new penny (as do the connections on the fuse. and the fuse tests good)

I still don't have a spark from the coil (the new one *or* the old one)

I'm at a complete loss. ugh

I also thought of checking the wire terminal connections *AT* the coil. pretty oxydized, so I cut them off, stripped the down to fresh wire, put on new terminal ends and re-installed. Put the *way too big* battery from the dead minivan in the volvo....she still cranks really well....but no spark.

grrrrrr...
