I don't have much to say in that write-up on windows, except I may have mentioned to check the four mounting points for the regulator using a 10mm wrench. They are usually loose and moved in their slotted hole adjustment. I've never seen a window go up faster than it goes down, nor have I ever found a way for that to be the fault of the motor itself. Wear and alignment if mechanical, but so often the trouble is indeed electrical resistance in the switches. They are in series like Christmas lights you know. The switch you aren't even using has to be making good contact.
