Your Bulb Failure Sensor is under the dash clipped to a ledge to the left of your steering wheel. It is cylindrical in shape. I had the same problem with my brake lights. I found that the element for the brake lights had burnt like a fuse causing the lights to fail. Also the wiring to the back lights had to be replaced. I think when the previous owner had bodywork done, an errant metal screw had shorted the brake wiring. Since then I've had to change the brake switch too. Easier to check your switch first.
