It's Mine 1800 1973

Well, for a virtual steal, I picked up a Red 1973 P1800ES. It's probably better to say that it was dropped off, certain issues keep it from being safely driven. Overall, I was surprised to see just how much of the interior looks like the 240...

Cons...
(1) It's got some arch and quarterpanel rust
(2) Driver's side floor panel and brace are mostly gone.
(3) The driver's side door does not want to open. Must re-unlock it everytime, and inner door release just spins...
(4) The top of the shifter knob is missing :(
(5) OD level wobbles...
(6) Tailgate gas struts won't hold up the glass.
(7) Fender and door chrome strips are missing.
(8) No driver's gas pedal (where do those things go?)
(9) Most seriously, there's a massive fuel line leak under the the driver's seat (ruptured line).

Pros...
Low miles (110,000)
Engine runs strong.
New Tires
Good glass all the way around
CD player (needs to be hooked up)
All the emblems are intact
Original owner's manual
Front seats have been professionally upholstered
No cracks in dashboard
No rust in rear cargo areas.
Paint is good, except where rusted out...

Also Pros...
I have a 71E parts car with some compatable parts
- 71's rear quarterpanels are a match
- I have spare door and fender chrome
- I have two spare doors with locks and handles.
