Considering Selling it 1800 1973

Yep. My g/f's ES needed nothing more than some wire brushing and a bit of POR-15 in a few spots. She paid $7500 for the car and has since dumped I don't know how much into running issues, suspension freshening and a A/T to M/T swap. But the car did win the foriegn car class at a judged show in the Spring. A lot to be said for completely gutting and painting the engine bay for the tranny swap.

My $800 ES I wish I could restore... while rusty and needs seats and a complete interior cleaning, it's otherwise straight. Any many of the scary rust-spots - like where the steering box and anit-sway bar bolt to - is solid. I need more money, time and space.

My $1700 ES was a mistake, although I did get decent money for the A/C system I pulled out of it.

I still hate the idea of scraping either of them as I still believe both could be saved given enough effort...
