That Micro Switch that will not let me shift out of park S90-V90 1998

car has 154K. I xcannot shift out of park without depressing the little override switch at the shifter. Should be the microswitch....right?

I read the instructions here, seems fairly complicated, ut a fun afternoon for me. A plan on replacing the bulb that burned out years ago while I am in there.

Does anyone have any additional advice on how do to it?....Tweaks to the instructions in FAQ?

If it is not the micro switch, what next?
