A month or so ago, I posted about a problem I've been having with my '87 740 GLE wagon. It is slow to rev up and accelerate, but doesn't miss or start hard. It always starts instantly. I changed the fuel filter, plugs, wires, checked the hose from the AMM to throttle body, checked timing, checked to see that timing marks lined up. Now I have no idea what the problem is. The intank pump is audible through the filler cap. Could the main pump just not be putting out enough fuel for it? Maybe a coolant temp or O2 sensor problem?
