740 acceleration problem - Weird 700

Hey Dave,

Yeah, I had to floor the f*&^%$g thing go get it to move when I had my timing problems. And it took a while to gain momentum.

During those dreadful times, I had found that as long as I barely gave the brick any gas, it seemed to move ok then as soon as I gave it normal pedal, it bogged, then if I floored the thing, it would move slightly faster, but, not much. No black smoke either, the motor had a hollow feel to it. It was weird.

Have you looked into a clogged fuel filter yet ?
